Last 3 T20Is - 61(48), 89(49), 4(9), any reason why this batsman was dropped?

Rahul shouldn't be competing with Dhawan, Rohit or Kohli.

Just need to look at other batsmen in the team and question if he is not better batsman than Dhoni, Pandey and Pandya in this format?

Why does he need to be opener only? Which specific aspect of his batting prevents him to bat above other batsmen. He is not a very slow starter and can bat quickly, so he should be good candidate as middle order batsman.

Rahul is more talented than at least two batsman on the team. He is too talented to be sitting on the bench for T20s. He can be rotated with Pandey and Raina . he does not have to open.

Need a wk to replace dhoni. So klr needs to replace panday. Or needs to keep in ipl this is riddiculous. They are wasting a potential kohli.

Common.... pls Don't tell me that Rohit and Dhawan are playing this format because of Kohli's friendship. And I have not seen Ishant anywhere near India team for at least 3 weeks now....

Dhawan is a bang average t20 batsman but I don't mind him playing here because of his recent form, it is clear that Raul was dropped to accommodate dhawan which is my concern.

regarding formats , kohli made sure rohit gets back for tests in saf by making easy runs against srl over a struggling rahane but even kohli in his heart knows that rahane is miles better than rohit as a test batsman, blinded by dostana maybe

Its a good thing he is not playing in Kohli's team in IPL. He need to make that a priority and for now should forget about international matches. Kohli and co eventually come running for him.
