First Class cricketer who played a big role in Karnataka's rise as a top dog in domestics. Earned a lot of scorn for his lack of pace but his results speaks for itself. This is an Indian forum, and I presume you are an Indian fan, so perhaps you could do better than just vomit a dismissive "who's he" and wish the man well for future.

Well i don't have to know the who's who of Karnataka cricket, how many of you know players from West Bengal, Kerela, Maharashtra? I don't see threads opening on their retirements? Nevertheless, you are free to celebrate anyone's retirement and i am entitled to ask if i don't know a particular player that you love or adore, last i checked, ICF was an open forum who respected peoples opinion.

Poor guy, so many undeserving trundlers have represented India for a lengthy time in their careers, he deserved a shot at Test cricket.

What's your take on Pankaj Singh?

Aravind wasnt test class , far from it .

He was pretty good bowler at domestic level though .

He was a big part of Karnataka's success in recent times. Clever bowler with changes of pace so better suited to shorter formats. Obviously not a top flight talent and he is probably thinking of alternative career path or maybe try hand at minor leagues if he continues to be out of IPL.

This is probably the path of majority of cricketers in India. He would have made decent money till now but long term he would probably have to think of other options like coaching etc.

Maybe in odd LOI's. Don't want trundlers anywhere near tests.

Didn't play in one ODI/T20 for India? Anyway, as a fan of Karnataka, he is one among the recent cricketers who has contributed a lot at the domestics, when the team was unbeatable for 2 years straight in 2013-15. He will always be remembered. Good Luck to him. He will probably open some cricket coaching club in Bengaluru for kids.
