If that is the case , then why Kaul was selected?
Rayudu got the look in solely because of his IPL exploits.
The bottom line is , Pant doesn't have many backers among the current stakeholder's of BCCI right now.

Honestly , we should appreciate his talent and don't hype him as Dhoni's replacement

It is only going to hurt his career bad.

Tracks will be flat for all the LO matches. Always are for LOIs here.

Well needless to say its baffling from selectors to not select Pant but I have a feeling he will replace Kohli. I wont mind it a bit, let Virat rest and become fit for tests.

If you cant perform under pressure in IPL odds are you will not in other tournaments. Majority of times cream floats to the top in IPL.

Pant has an SR of 163 after 3 IPLs. More than any Indian batsman. also scoring more than 1000 runs. SO, it is not just about this IPL.

Then why is he failing in every goddamn international series?
Bumrah did well-even Pandya has done well in some occasions.

He has only 3 completed innings in T20Is !! Even those opportunities were given after a long frustrating time on the bench.
