All players will get enough experience of UK before WC. It will be a win-win situation for all, well except for Pak who wont win the event anyway Is this trolling? How many time you won the world cup away from India? Link to comment

nevada
IPL is like a mini world cup. Like Americans, we should start calling IPL winner "world champions." Screw the world cup. It comes only once in 4 years and one small mistake can cause so much heartache. Clarke, Khota and Laaloo 2 1 Link to comment

Sgattick10
Lmao this thread. The only thing I'm concerned about is injuries and niggles, that will hamper our chances... we dont have great bench strength. Link to comment

adi B
Rather we should no postpone the ipl so that the final is played in June 1st week simultaneously with the saf match in wc and send a C team to the wc just for the laughs lol Link to comment

Couple that with blackout of telecast in India that will teach ICC a lesson not to steal money from India. Link to comment
Gollum
With the release of the FTP, there go my hopes of IPL 2019 getting rescheduled. So around 3 days between the IPL F and start of warm up matches for the CWC. Pretty sure international stars will be pulled out a few weeks in advance by their boards, humare players hi apni marwaenge. Fatigue/injury is a real possibility now because there is no respite for our boys in the coming 10 odd months. General elections bhi usi waqt honge, so an overseas IPL is more or less a certainty. Hope BCCI buddhus make a sensible choice for a change...please don't hold it in UAE...those dull, low bouncing, abrasive, two paced, **** wickets will be very bad prep for Eng. Rather play it in SA and order good batting decks in line with modern day Eng pitches. Link to comment
Zero_Unit
It would be smarter to schedule it after the WC. Ain't no one gives a f*CK if they are injured for IPL but WC is a no-no! Already will be a tough tournament this time around. Edited June 20, 2018 by Zero_Unit Link to comment

For some of us, the WC is the highest level of cricket, which is very true at least in the ODI format. Same goes for test cricket as well. I'd prefer watching the finest XI from every nation compete for the highest prize and currently only international cricket offers that. Every T20 league on the other hand subsidizes mediocre talent from the country of origin while attracting some (and not all) foreign talent. You'll never see the IPL bhakts argue over quality when it comes to comparisons with international cricket. Their notions seem to be money oriented as if cricket were a freakin casino or blind bhakti for Dhoni etc. Edited June 21, 2018 by Clarke Gollum and Adi_91 2 Link to comment

I don’t think we will have warm up games Coa k mutabik players need 15 din ka rest and that’s why we play Proteas on June 4th.Plus you know Ipl is a money maker for BCCI no way they will let it go and suffer losses.
