The proceeds from the match will go towards the restoration of the cricket grounds in the Caribbean following the passage of Hurricanes Irma and Maria last year. The grounds that were damaged were: Ronald Webster Park, Anguilla Sir Viv Richards Stadium, Antigua Windsor Park Stadium, Dominica Carib Lumber Ball Park, St Maarten Cancryn Cricket Grounds, St Thomas, USVI The ICC Rest of the World XI side are made up of a number of big names across the globe and are captained by former Pakistan all-rounder, Shahid Afridi. Austin 3:!6 Posted May 31, 2018 Author Posted May 31, 2018 Rather than this bogus World XI, MCC should have called some IPL franchise to play west Indies. It would have generated more money than this game. Imagine a CSK/MI vs WI game in Lords...houseful guaranteed.
