Moochad Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Chepu has to hope Dhawan fails so he can get slotted in as opener, otherwise UrmiSinhaRay 1
Bigg Brother Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 If Pujara is worse than Dhawan is the worst.. At least former can spend some time..He failed in county is lame reason to drop him. What if Ashwin would have gone wicketless in country,Would he have been dropped??It should be appreciated that He chose county stint rather than cooling his heels in Rajkot.. Anyway it was evident as Rahul performed in practice match and Kohli had to sacrifice one of the Pujara or Dhawan. The guy has history of picking Rohit and Dhawan over Vijay,Rahane and Pujara..His obsession of "1 Session Game changer" isn't over yet. mishra Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 LOL at team selection. Its all going to unfold UrmiSinhaRay 1
Moochad Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 idiot kohli dropped pujara for this road of a pitch he's the kind of player that could save this match for us UrmiSinhaRay 1
coffee_rules Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 @velu the panauti to pujara. Karwadiya na drop velu, The Dark Horse, Cricketics and 1 other 1 2 1
SK_IH Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 this will be a jolt for Pujara, no IPL,no LOIs, now dropped from the test team as well it would certainly help disillusion him regarding his batting and attitude about proving his abilities, now he has to prove to the team management that he can bat overseas velu and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1

Temperament is not the only thing that can help you overseas. It can help you to some extent. But not too much. So i am not sure if he can "reinvent" himself. Because from what i see he doesn't have it in him to be that good. velu and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1

Because from what i see he doesn't have it in him to be that good. he has skill for sure, one of better player of spin in this lineup but he has not upped his game with regards to expanding his range, Look at someone like Azhar Ali (who I still belive is inferior to Pujara overall) similar player but he scored runs everywhere and also he improved tremendously in very away series unlike Pujara,Pujara has really disappointed with lack of growth as a batsman Edited August 2, 2018 by SK_IH UrmiSinhaRay and velu 1 1
Temujin Khaghan Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 So @velu you singlehandedly finished off chepu's career with this thread? :D :p philcric, UrmiSinhaRay, vvvslaxman and 2 others 1 3 1

velu Posted August 2, 2018 Author Posted August 2, 2018 someone told this is the ideal pitch for his typical 60 of 200 balls UrmiSinhaRay 1
CG Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Rahul is so overrated Looked worse Than rohit in Sa.Pujara Should be back next test. UrmiSinhaRay, Frustrated and Moochad 1 1 1
coffee_rules Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Pujara shpuld refuse to play and do what Sidhu did in 1996, return back home and revolt. Jimmy Cliff, UrmiSinhaRay and Switchblade 1 2
Switchblade Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Don’t think he would have made any impact even if he played in the eleven today. UrmiSinhaRay 1
mishra Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 So both our opener bats managed to give away their wickets despite managing to settle, but icfers and Kohli will manage to find a excuse to drop Rahul UrmiSinhaRay 1

mahesh_g Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 I hate this guy now. He was so happy when Rahul got out. Selfish player. He would have got out for duck. UrmiSinhaRay 1
Switchblade Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Quote Maybe I'm a bit old fashioned but I look at someone like Cheteshwar Pujara, sitting there with his earpiece in now for three days, and, yes, he was averaging 14 for Yorkshire and he's out of nick but give me a good old fashioned blocker, 'over my dead body', see off the new ball cricketer every time. That's the sort of cricketer I'm looking for-Naseer Hussain velu 1
