It’s painful but worth it to see these overpaid buggers look so out of depth in Test cricket and then all smiles and overhyped in IPL

sometimes important to watch these type of games to be beware Indian cricket quality still behind compared to likes of Aus and SA despite all the resources

I disagree,we have seen what the likes of SA and Aus have done in tests in sub continent

It's a worlwide trend, just give up when things are tough away from the comfort of home, lack of resilience and will,so quality all-around the world is same,i.e. ****

Swanny with a very balanced opinion saying the batting conditions our batsmen played under and those that the English batsmen played under are very different.

He is saying that under rain and under sun, the Lord's pitch typically plays completely differently

They have been behind for nearly 8 years now but they are not answerable to anyone so they keep giving pathetic performance.Only from 2005-2010 we did well after that back to normal.

True

But with India, I personally expect more, now India have massive resources, huge player pool, regular A tours but now 7 years running and being seeing continuous run of defeats in these SENA countrires

And let’s be fair current England side isn’t good as previous England sides in last decade, same for SA and Aus

In that period, putting aside great players, had a top notch coaching staff,

Kirsten was very proactive, which culminated in WC 2011 win

These kind of results make me appreciate the ATG WI and Aus teams who won everywhere. Even the recent SA unit which was unbeaten overseas between 2006 Lanka and 2015 India. I think that legendary WI team didn't lose an overseas series for close to 2 decades :adore: , Australia massacred all teams away whilst only being challenged in India..but there was that 2004 series which they won. We have no standing compared to these legendary outfits...for all the $$$, BCCI power, cricket=religion and pool of talent available we don't have the results to show. Even Little Lanka has got more out of its limited resources compared to Giant India. We are perennial failures in this sport all things considered and I don't see us ever course correcting. Invest the same resources in Indian Hockey and we will be winning the big trophies against a much wider and stronger field.
