Insightful Fans: they can be .... both went on to become ATGs in their respective categories 

 

 

Novices: Pandya is this and that. 6th batsman blah blah

He can stand like a 27 year old

He can sit like a 18 year old 

He can lie down like a 10 year old

He is the real captain when we win 

He bats like a 80 year old these days

 

5  out of 6  isn't bad   !

For Dhoni to evoke a similar reaction he would've needed to retire in 2013.

Who's going to replace Dhoni? I'm no Dhoni fan but a senior player is what would set us apart from a team like BD. You need that experience and knowledge. 

 

We don't win against BD today without Dhoni's stumpings and field placements.

Only if we could use the services of Tesla to transform the power grid! Unfortunately, that option is not possible. Dhoni's services are still available. Again, I'm not a die hard fan of Dhoni. I just think the team right needs stability.
