To me, He is showing that he can hit any ball. He is among big boys now. Current weather in australia seems to be Rain Rain and Rain. Which will assist bowlers.

 

Only Problem I see is some of them shots are in air.

I also expect Aussie to figure out their field positions and get him cheaply mid series. What I will look forward is how Shaw reacts. This series is definitely going to be a massive learning experience for him.

 

PS: He should learn from the way he got out in practice game. Ball pitched outside legstump and turned miles. Ideally ball shouldnt have turned that much as flight was missing. But it did. Big boys and test pitches will make this happen. He must know that. He had 3 options. whther to milk that one for a single or double or go for boundry or just block it with pads Now which option he chooses in future will be his decision.
