sandeep Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Marcus Harris, Aaron Finch, Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh, Peter Handscomb, Travis Head, Tim Paine (c), Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood They drop Mitch Marsh and go with 4 bowlers only. Strong indication that the track is going to be a bit more bowler friendly than the usual Aussie roads. UrmiSinhaRay 1
gattaca Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Their bowlers are good enough. Our are still not good we are really just 1.5 bowlers. Bumrah and Shami when he turns up. I cant trust Ishant and Ashwin. UrmiSinhaRay 1
Jimmy Cliff Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Indian 12 announced as well. No Kuldeep and Ashwin the first choice spinner again . Bhuvi not picked either. I suppose 1 out of Rahul/Rohit/Vihari will end up as 12th man. SK_IH, Mosher and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1 1
zen Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Could have gone with 4 pace bowlers but Ashwin can use the new ball too so let’s see how it goes UrmiSinhaRay 1
Adi BB Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Australian side looks pretty decent ,its pretty clear now that the pitch will have grass on it and more bowling friendly and they have gone with 4 proper bats ,India should do the same . On such extreme pitches 4 bowlers are enough as it's most likely Gonna be a short test match . UrmiSinhaRay 1
Lannister Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Rohit Sharma? Da fuq? What the hell this joker will do against Australian best bowlers? He better not be in the team or Kohli, one more ass whooping is coming your way. Australian batting still looks strong without Smith and Warner. Switchblade, Kothili and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1 1

Global.Baba Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Bowling looks world class. Batting looks 3rd class. UrmiSinhaRay 1

AuxiliA Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 With all the talk about Pacers, I believe Ashwin will be the key here. He will be bowling a lot as we are playing just 4 bowlers. Good thing for him is that 4 out of top 7 aussies are lefties. But he needs to step up big time. UrmiSinhaRay 1
SK_IH Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 I have no big issues with Hitman playing, its not that this batting lineup is full of world beaters , however Ashwin starting again in a test series away is a poor decision. He never gonna win a match for Ind overseas against a capable side, thast for sure. They should have a taken a chance with Kuldeep. That also shows how Kohli's thinking has changed. In a supposed aggressive move he opted for Karn Sharma ahead of Ashwin on the last tour. his fake bluster is being exposed time and again these days. Stan AF and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1

Ashwin outbowled only relatively speaking Kuldeep on a green track last time they played together. Kuldeep is still not seasoned enough. On flat pitches or bouncy Aussie tracks yes he should be the first spinner but this looks like a green wicket. As much as I detest Jadeja, he seems to be in decent rhythm and keeps consistency which is required on such pitches. So would pick him as the sole spinner. UrmiSinhaRay 1

The Dark Horse Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 (edited) Rohit seriously? I'd be gutted if he plays ahead of Vihari. Very much possible with this team management. Edited December 5, 2018 by The Dark Horse UrmiSinhaRay 1
Vilander Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Should try Kuldeep againt Aus 11 their batting looks lolz.. UrmiSinhaRay 1
