No harm in trying Rishabh Pant and if same result then fine.

But incase he gets a quick 25-30, then atleast a little bit of momentum

No, what is the use of same Vijay+KLR in second inn, lets try something different (with options  we have). Try for a quick start from Pant at top of the order, and maybe KLR can score some runs down the order if he doesnt have to face the burden of opening the innings? Just for this 2nd Innings - the temporary change I'm suggesting.

I dont see them changing the batting order.

No .... if any Pujara and Vijay should open and try to play out at least  10 overs as possible with out losing a wicket at any cost. Even if they  do not score a single run in this phase , that wouldn't hurt. I think this will give the platform for the rest of the chase.

Unless we plan to try Pant as an opener (which is probably not a great idea) for the rest of the series, I would NOT make unnecessary changes

100 overs of keeping and then batting, doesn't work in test cricket.

as  I said earlier , it is far worthy to take a risk with both Pujara and Vijay opening and taking off the shine of the ball  AEAP  than the guaranteed result of opening with Vijay-Rahul ....

Rahul hasn't shown so much promise that others have to keep moving around for him.

That's how it has been in test cricket. No matter how good batsman your keeper is, he isn't given opening slot or even top 3 on regular basis. 

 

It's very difficult to concentrate on batting with 10 mins of break after squatting for 100 overs.

 

ODIs and T20Is are different.

as I said it is not a great idea .... but we have opened with likes of Parthiv, Karthik (iirc) in the past so you never know with the TM

Rishabh Pant isn't a good option as he has to keep then come again to bat soon and its better to leave opening to specialist bat.Try other new openers than recycling players like Dhawan.
