Gautam Gambhir  has also criticised Delhi players who don't make themselves available for domestic cricket.

 

"If you don't care about Delhi cricket, which has given you the platform to go out there and fulfil your dream, and you don't want to commit yourself to that state, that state doesn't need you,"

Kaunsa packed calendar? He didn't play the T20I series against West Indies and Australia and had an even longer break considering the Test series.

I can understand Dhawan taking a break but Dhoni has been forever been on break.

Dhoni never cared about test cricket. He's setting a bad precedent here. If they don't play Ranjis then better retire from test and first class cricket. Otherwise they need to represent their state teams.

WI follow that.Those who don't play their regional domestic tournaments when free  are not picked for the main team.

Our selection committee should show the spine to not select the players who are not playing in Ranji.

 

Dhawan was dropped from the squad, he should have played in the Ranji.

Thank god the selectors didn't select  him

Already this trend is being followed by Dhawan,Rayudu etc

 

This also has an added advantage that if you are out of form,no one will know even if the competition is better than you

What do you expect when biggest idiot among all of them Venkatesh Prasad said Dhoni is best option for WC 2019. Prasad is useless as a chief selector.

Dhoni is setting himself up for the most humiliating exit for an India cricketer.Its apparent he will be heavily panned during the WC unless something drastically changes. God save the Untold Story.
