Reports that they had  20-24 F-16s and JF17s in numbers.

now IAF saying PAF threw 4-5 AMRAAMs from BVR.

Bloody Pakistani, they came with their full might if they had hit their intended brigade HQ we could have over 100 causalities.

Seriously had it not been our wg. cmdr falling in their hands, it would be a full blown war.

Can't thank IAF enough who thwarted it.

This is true. Some foreign analysts have pointed this out. There was a reason why Pakistan was no fly zone for 2 days. Imran Khan was not even notified what action his Pakistani army was planning. As a result, he was completely caught off guard with diplomatic tsunami. Infact release of Abhinandan seems to have been done by Pakistani government. Anouncement in Parliament along with 48 hour timeline was done by IK to put his army under pressure.

Pakistani army wanted to convey, They have less pain thresh hold. Message has been received by Indian establishment. India must prepare in coming years with Missile defense shield (against Pakistani Aircraft and tanks) and when it does next strike, It will diplomatically let whole world know that it has declared 10-20 miles along the LoC as no flyzone. And will shoot down any Pakistani aircraft which comes into launchinng distance of Air to Surface missile.

I feel we need 5+ year to reach in that state. Then we can do exactly what Israel does in Palestine

First they said trees were targeted. None of the images suggest that we touched nature at all. That means you talk your a$$ off here without any ground level knowledge of anything. You are liars. Go get life.

Must be some Alien/Vedic tech IAF has... :hysterical:

Can anyone tell me, what sort of "missile" or kill vehicle was used to destroy aim-120?

Kinetic kill can only be used against Ballistic missile. Not against A2A missiles as to my knowledge... :tee:

BALAKOT LOCAL CONFIRMS PAK ARMY LOSSES

"Whatever I have seen or read, four or five people from the Pakistani army lost their lives," Naeem replied on his local phone 312-557xxxx.

"Pakistani army?" asked the journalist.

"Yes, army people too have (died)," Naeem said.

"Are you sure they have died?" asked the reporter.

"Yes, yes," he said.

His comments suggest the raided Jaish camp was protected by Pakistani soldiers.

The team of reporters then contacted a cleric from a mosque in another Balakot neighbourhood.

Balakot Strikes Missed, Targeting Error Possible Cause: Australian Report

Quote

Amid India’s claims and Pakistan’s counter-claims on the efficacy and potency of the air strikes conducted by the Indian Air Force in PoK’s Balakot, a new report based on high-resolution satellite imagery claims that the intended targets – JeM terror camps – were not ‘visibly damaged’.

The report, by Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), claims that publicly available satellite imagery acquired by European Space Imaging the day after the strike suggests that buildings at the camp were not “visibly damaged or destroyed”.

The imagery (of a higher resolution than previously available) shows conspicuously undamaged roofs, says the report, which runs counter to Indian claims of “successfully destroying the intended targets”.

The report also claims that the damage (or lack thereof) is not “consistent with either a SPICE 2000 strike or a strike with other munitions”.

“We believe that even a weapon with reduced explosive fill would cause damage to buildings that would be identifiable in the satellite imagery,” the authors of the report claim.

Did India Shoot Down a Pakistani Jet? U.S. Count Says No.

New Delhi and Islamabad had conflicting accounts of a February dogfight.

India’s claim that one of its fighter pilots shot down a Pakistani F-16 fighter jet in an aerial battle between the two nuclear powers in February appears to be wrong. Two senior U.S. defense officials with direct knowledge of the situation told Foreign Policy that U.S. personnel recently counted Islamabad’s F-16s and found none missing.

The findings directly contradict the account of Indian Air Force officials, who said that Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman managed to shoot down a Pakistani F-16 before his own plane was downed by a Pakistani missile.

It is possible that in the heat of combat, Varthaman, flying a vintage MiG-21 Bison, got a lock on the Pakistani F-16, fired, and genuinely believed he scored a hit. But the count, conducted by U.S. authorities on the ground in Pakistan, sheds doubt on New Delhi’s version of events, suggesting that Indian authorities may have misled the international community about what happened that day.

The news comes just days before the start of India’s general elections, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seeking another term in office. In the weeks leading up to the election, tensions between India and Pakistan escalated to levels not seen in decades after a Pakistan-based militant group killed more than 40 Indian security officers in a Feb. 14 suicide bombing in India-controlled Kashmir. Both sides have been accused of spreading disinformation and fanning nationalistic flames.

Although the news likely won’t sway Indian voters, Vipin Narang, an associate professor of political science at MIT, said the way the events have unfolded may affect India’s efforts to deter Pakistan in the future.

“As details come out, it looks worse and worse for the Indians,” Narang said. “It looks increasingly like India failed to impose significant costs on Pakistan, but lost a plane and a helicopter of its own in the process.”

The dogfight between the two nations occurred on Feb. 27, when India says a group of Pakistani jets entered its airspace in response to the first Indian air raid on Pakistani territory since a 1971 war. India scrambled its own jets and gave chase. During the aerial battle that ensued, Varthaman took a missile hit and ejected safely into Pakistani territory.

He was captured by the Pakistani army and released days later in an effort to de-escalate the crisis.

One of the senior U.S. defense officials with direct knowledge of the count said that Pakistan invited the United States to physically count its F-16 planes after the incident as part of an end-user agreement signed when the foreign military sale was finalized. Generally in such agreements, the United States requires the receiving country to allow U.S. officials to inspect the equipment regularly to ensure it is accounted for and protected.

Some of the aircraft were not immediately available for inspection due to the conflict, so it took U.S. personnel several weeks to account for all of the jets, the official said.

But now the count has been completed, and “all aircraft were present and accounted for,” the official said.

As if US will ever admit a 50s era Soviet junk piece brought down the F-16? We shouldn't care what others say, this is a fight where we are alone, stop seeking validation and trust the forces.

I'm not sure there is something for US or Lockheed Martin to be embarrassed about if an F-16 or even an F-22 is on the run and has an ancient aircraft on it's six. There is a very high probability of the American aircraft being shot down, one can only dodge so many cannon shells & missiles.

Exactly, US will bot confirm it officially because they dont want to embarrass themselves and put question marks against their Fighter technology which may hamper their deal with Tata or India worth billions.

They cant deny it officially, because there is enough evidence to catch them pants down and embarras them again.

Everyone is by themselves :wp6: even America started taking 26/11 seriously when their people were the victims too. Israel took 26/11 seriously too even though the victims were Indian Jews and not Israeli Jews, sab apna hi dekhte Hain, yeh sachhai hai.
