Why just CSK? Every single match in the last week or so in this IPL has been totally suspicious. They have made it so obvious it's not even funny any longer. That reflects in the viewership numbers as well with Hotstar viewerships topping at peaks of at best 6 million ( week 1 consistently had 9+ mil peaks).

Odd of a no ball and a wide being bowled in the last over are one in a thousands, here we have the same thing happening almost in match after match. IPL should hire better script writers.

I will ask you again, do you seriously think that the likes of Kohli, Dhoni, Stokes etc need to engage in this madness. Secondly, who is fixing ? for what purpose?

I don't think it is a CSK or any other team specific issue. There seems to be an understanding among all franchises that trundlers/weak bowlers will be reserved for the final few overs. Spectators crave excitement and "heroic" batting in the end overs. Who wants to see a bowler operate smartly and snuff out the chasing team's challenge? Yesterday, even when there were another 8 or so overs left you could easily guess that trundlers will rescue CSK in the end. This is IPL's idea of entertainment. It is a set pattern from which there seems to be no escape.

teams dont have great options. Each team doesnt have the luxury of a Bumrah (even he can get hit). Look batsmen generally back themselves on these kind of pitches to even achieve the improbable. But even then there have been instances of chasing teams choking i  this IPL like the Delhi match or the Punjab match vs CSK. Yesterday apart from Archer, there was not a single bowler you would be comfortable in defending a score

Next time a team defends 6 runs in an over, it would be termed as fixing.

So you are basically saying all opposition players are supposedly underperforming but CSK is the team full of fixers :giggle:

Exactly so when ppl say CSK wins by fixing does that mean opp took money to loose

Coz then ur questioning someone like Kohli n sachin who have lost games against CSK

They should hire Ekta or Shobha, more shock value.

What is the use of investigation when everything is fixed? IPL is just like WWE.

One in 1000s?  Even in international games, no balls and and wides are bowled almost every game.

yes

You have claimed this in the past, but actually last over no balls are extremely rare in international cricket. The first thing a bowler repeats and the captain tells to him is - no no balls, no wides. Every single time, particularly if they are defending a score. Wides are difficult to cpntrol, even high full tosses, but over stepping in last over happens very very rarely in international cricket. You are just creating a story to defend IPL

That's BS, when was the last time you saw no balls in the last over from good sides? I say good because we know lesser nations can't handle the pressure or there's probably some fix in, especially after the free hit rule no balls have almost disappeared. IIRC England didn't bowl a NB for 2 or 3 series till WI.

Though he post sensibly but he has this habbit of making few claims with no proof.
