its just a fcuking sport and not many countries play it ( its not really a word cup - its cup of 10 -15 nations realistically and not all of them primarily interested in the sport - only India/Pak and BD with combined populaton of 1.6 bil are primarily interested)

Our country and leaders have different kind of "keeda".

 

In the past they have also gone on to extent to remove Indian flag from the helmet or remove Indian wrist band which Ganguly used to wear.

that should be the precedence then if India does not allow flags same thing can apply to Army insignia.

Good the army distanced itself from dhoni's self promotional activity.

It is embarrasing to see this guy act like a teenager and also use his honorary post in the army to promote himself as a brand.

 

This is like a slap on the wrist. I hope he learns a lesson.
