KL rahul is the most mentally weak batsman India has produced in last two decades

His intent, his game, his shot selection, everything about him reeks of confusion. The way he is batting, we would be better served with sending him down the order behind pandya to smack a few. That's his aukaat nowadays, India's biggest talent wasted in last decade, and by his own fault.

That's a myth just because while watching it looks good. His technique is actually very vulnerable. He kept getting bowled in Test matches. That is a telling sign that there is a serious flaw in his technique.

Rahul is fine in shorter formats, any player can have a bad match or series.It does not diminish his class as a T20 batsman,Rahul is one of the most explosive players India has in T20s.But playing three keepers and ruining the balance may not be the best idea.Rahul as a wk lends the balance to the team.Playing with just five bowlers is recipe for disaster.

I don't think Jadeja is a must in every match.If team is loaded with lefties, he might not be best option in T20s.

He is a quality T20 player, he should just break out of his mental block. He had enough opportunity to line up the ball & hit it above the infield today, he chose to defend & poke. Either get out trying to do what you are good at else get out meekly. It's his choice.

It is not always possible to play your natural game.

Shastri just needs to go n tell him to play like KL rahul and not fall into dhoni trap. Dhoni also started becoming very conscious which affected his natural game over the years. 

Its ok if he tries to hit n get out but trying to be cautious n getting out in t20 is a crime. Its evident with his setup that he is not looking to attack. Dont curb ur natural game or else there are many to replace u . If he ends up batting at dhawan s.r then Tm will go to dhawan for being a leftie. 

 

Captain n Coach shud talk to him and clear his role. Role clarity is where both Captain n coach comes in play.
