KL rahul is the most mentally weak batsman India has produced in last two decades

I am more pissed off that they brought Pant into the team.Pant is not needed for this team, Pant having success in test cricket does not mean he should have the same success in t20s and odis. As I said Rahul as a keeper is doing fine in both shorter formats he brings balance to the team. TM has to stop this this insane urge to fit players in all formats. Kishen should be third opener in T20s and Pant  should be back up keeper in both shorter formats.

 

By bringing in Pant and Kishen they are disrupting that balance. Let Pant play test cricket for now and Kishen be back opener.

If fitting in talented youngsters is a problem, let Kohli be kicked out along with his pal Dhawan. The team will start doing even better and for a change start to win trophies

always said. he is a pure middle order bat. good innings. he is not and never will be an opener. same for tests except in india where he is brutal vs spin on turners. best player in spin conditions. outside asia, he should always be a middle order bat. in odis he is a middle order bat. in t20 middle order suits him better regardless of his IPL feats.

Well, there is not much difference there. Babar Azam plays in a pathetic batting lineup, Rahul doesn't have that luxury. Rahul's innings today is what Babar's career has been so far. Mind you Rahul is still getting criticism from fans became they expect more from him due to his higher ceiling.

Rahul has been a choker so far but he gets over his mental block, he has immense potential.

Rahul doesn't have the luxury of time, Babar can fail for another 25 30 innings and will still be the No.1 choice for Pakistan, wherein Rahul has Gill, Sky, Shaw, Samson, Padikkal, Iyer, Kishan Etc. breathing over his neck, nudging to take his place in the side. It's absolutely no comparison.
