Samson has played 9 T20s till now.  Has an Avg of 13 with SR of 113.           Overrated ipl product. Nothing more.

Another thing worth mentioning about this superstar.     His HS is 27 after playing 9 T20s.  He has batted at top of the order almost every match with plenty of time to build his inning in many games.  #Pathetic#

He's surely become like Rohit Sharma of the Past, where he kept trolling all the Indian Cricket Fans with abundance of talent but zero performance, The Rohit Sharma of the past when he was known as "No-hit" before becoming the giant "Hitman" later on his career. Don't know if Samson can transform his talent into performances like Rohit, only time will tell, however, difference between Sharma & Samson is that Sharma was from the Mumbai Lobby, who inevitably gets the Long Rope, compared to Samson who is from the dry Cricketing State of Kerala, Time is clicking for Samson, only a 40 ball 100 in next couple of games can save his career, else he's doomed by all means.

Samson is in the team purely for his IPL Heroics, Indian T20 team selection has nothing to do with List A & First Class Numbers. Samson, Chakravarthy, Padikkal are all playing today on the back of their IPL performances.

Dude what? Padikkal was the second highest run scorer in the most recent Vijay hazare trophy tournament and the highest run scorer in the previous one lol. Not to mention he was the highest run scorer in the 2019-2020 SMAT tournament as well. Look at his domestic one day and t20 records, they’re insane. Average of 87 (87!!) in list A. Average of 42 with a S/R of 146 in t20s

Nothing heroic about notching up a few scores at the start and then going missing for large sections of the season. Rinse and repeat every year.

Still okay with giving him the long rope in T20, but that's the only format he should play.

And he is behind Pant, Rahul, Kishen for T20 WC considerations.

Should be in contention after the Dhawan, Kohli, Rohit stop playing T20I, hopefully after this WC
