Agree with the point mostly but we also get western trash who "live cheap so we could visit India". Visiting a national monument at 750 rs is still very cheap when compared to visiting Europe or USA. Can you visit anything at $10 which is as noteworthy as Taj Mahal. $10 will get you a piece of rock with some scribbles masquerading as painting on it. US idea of history is something that was done 100 years ago. They celebrate something established in 1890 as something noteworthy. They market their products well. We have historic monuments that goes back centuries and even millenia that are dilapidated.

And nobody is staring into his wife lusting after her probably only because they couldn't believe how fat this woman is. I saw a tourist riding a bicycles wearing small shorts just yesterday. nobody noticed in a busy place in the street. Maybe some low class drunk happened to stare at this woman but low class drunks stare at everyone. And don't let this paper or anything from qoura fool you. All these polls with their likes and views are rigged. Take it with a grain of salt.

Chennai airport is not that bad.....yet :fear1: But they have a bathroom inside the airport which is ok (not too shabby but unclean by western standards) and outside for visitors which is like the usual (they take payments but no cleaning). The public also needs to be blamed for not flushing the urine bowl :no: But staring and beggars wow. Can't believe they do this in an international airport wow :shock:

It is not about the price per say ...it is about the price discrimination based on skin color.

Staring happens in South also but not to the same extent the same with public urination. I happened to meet a northie guy years ago nice guy. He was saying southern railways was cleaner than northern railways. I was like for real. Because I thought train stations were a public urination spot. I don't even wanna get into the toilets in the railways. I could imagine how bad the nothern railways are. It gave me a new perspective.

Beggars are everywhere dude. Here also beggars surround the cars in a traffic jam. Earlier they used to wash your windshields without your consent with dirty water :no: Nowadays they don't they just beg. They are always outside malls, restaurants, clutching on your heart strings for money

You said color not nationality. Anyways I didn't say they are not justified. Just arguing about quora and their polls. In the net anyone can be anyone. Could be a padosi posing as a westerner. Could be a western agent posting on indian media who acts on the western interests. Don't trust any news especially internet polls. I would gaurantee that news on socail media as well like tiwtter and fakebook are 100% fake. Do you really think Donald trmup spends time on twwiter.

news itself is a propaganda tool. So we have a physical newspaper citing an online poll on quora. This is a mindfcuk beyond belief. Online news is the worst because its the easiest to access and free. I tell you what they are not free because it damages your brain and reformulates how you think leading to long term consequences and extremist behavior. We are all neck deep in it unfortunately. We have to back ourselves sometime to gain some sanity

Its about subsidy Indians get. There is no descrimination. nRI have to cough up same. There is additional service foreign tourists get. Are they really prepared to be treated like Indians in queue

^ Also, I am sure that there are many Indians who won’t mind to get the same service As foreigner but don’t qualify.

 

In Places like Balaji temple, Its reverse. NRIs and foreigners jump half the queue

There is no additional service that the tourists (even Indian) get when they take autorickshaws and Taxis and are overcharged. Ditto with tour guides.

Discrimination is discrimination, be it sanctioned in the case of ticket lines. Or non sanctioned, like in the case I mentioned.

Gave example of Balaji. I will give example of Taj too.

Indian take off their shoes in Taj and walk on burning marbles, While Foreign Tourist get socks to put on their shoes. Dont know if Indians are given socks to put over their shoes now, but it was like that in past

 

Before someone complaining about tour guide cost, Someone influential from India took me to Paris. Tour guide charged around 2000+ euro for the day which only included a guide, a queue jump (that too not at all atrractions), tickets without queue, basic lunch and a cab for whole day.
