At-least to give a break to Chahal, TM has to try him out. Chahal is NOT the right choice going into the world cup and other options have to be tried! express bowling 1

Desperately need bowlers who can hold the bat don't have to occupy the crease but at least be able to play a few shots. Chahal is pathetic. No dedication to improve or fight when batting & looks the wind will blow him over he's that weak.

When India was reeling under 8 for 6 in the under-19 final in swinging conditions Chawla was the one who did his best to avoid the defeat. He is feisty with bat.

mani sha Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Few around .. it’s easier to get bowlers who can bat pandya kumar shardul krishna mavi / nagarkotti abour wrist spinners - have one but quality . Like a Kumble rather than one which works in few games and doesn’t . Job of wrist spinner is to get wickets in middle overs . kuldeep is better batter and should be encouraged to bat .no harm in trying more leggier . Kaptaan though will ruin their careers

I reckon gopal is much better than real Chahar with the bat though, especially in long formats. gopal may have a FC avg of "only" 35 but I recall many instances where he pulled Kar out of trouble in Ranjis. it is criminal that he doesn't even get selected for A squads, whereas likes of Midget Chahal play ODIs.
