Identified prospects that still need to evolve.

These are players who can make it to internationals but need some fine tuning.

Don’t include guys like SKY, Rahul Chahar or even Kishen who is ready for T20Is.

More like guys who will make it but may be that extra season or those minor fixes before they are even considered but good prospects nevertheless.

Abdul Samad

Bishnoi

Paddikal (needs to work on fitness. Not ready yet)

Jaiswal

Bishnoi and Padikkal seem more polished and confident.  Samad came on late, so it is hard to get a read.

Now Jaiswal - I have no idea what happened in the IPL, but he had a shell-shocked look on his face the whole time.  Like he felt he didn't belong and someone was doing him a favor by paying him to play.  Lacked the "khunnas" you'd like to see at that level.  All those daddy knocks in U-19 and other international matches seemed like a distant memory.  Like:

Where does someone like Sarfaraz Khan stand? Scored tons of runs playing for an average Mumbai Ranji side, did not get a run in IPL and has faded off lately but will most likely do en encore in the next FC season. With an improved fitness, he may leapfrog others to get a middle order spot in all formats.

Only downside, he isn't a conventional Indian batsman, very unorthodox and a bit in the early Sehwag mould.

There's one more category that also needs immediate attention - Talents fallen away /struggling with specific weaknesses

1. Pant - Batting , keeping, Fitness,

2 .Kuldeep - Test  match bowling, develop defensive bowling for short format as Plan B when hit .

3. Shreyas Iyer - Short stuff , fastish spinners

4.  Shaw -   Controlled attack, better defense

5. Samson - Consistency.

Why is Samad hyped here? He doesn't even bowl and when it comes to batting isn't it premature to put him ahead of so many others?

he bowls but as of now part timer, whatever i hve seen he has good control so if he keeps bowling regulalry he can give u 4-5 over atleast and being a leggie he always has a chance to get wkts. Lucky that he has rashid n murali to help him
