Test team deserves some praise!

No matter what the result would be, the team deserves some praise for its fighting spirit

Day 1 - Pujara and Kohli batted for like 2 sessions combined .... The difference  b/w a sub 200 score and one close to 250

Day 2 - The bowlers

Yes, there are things that need to improve but can’t fault the team for not fighting it out!

We need to really learn how to nick singles against top quality bowlers. Our batsmen are very sound in technique but often get worked over by master bowlers. Just keep the scoreboard ticking, we will become a great test team.

Very NZ like performance. Scrapping hard.

Good as NZ tends to punch above its weight

Yes. If not for the stupid run out and some drop catches, they might be leading by 150 with 9 wickets in hand

At the end of the day, those are all part of the game (happening since the game was first played). For e.g., Kohli’s catch was not reviewed by Aus, some umpire calls could have gone their way (therefore Aus could have a different PoV)  :dontknow:

This did not age well. Whole ICF after this team.

Too much inconsistency esp. too many "1 hour of bad cricket"
