So the IPL 2021 squads have been finalized and pleasantly surprised to see that many deadwood, TTF and sell pass date players have been discarded.

I hope in next year mega auction we get rid of below players also once for all.

DC:
Amit Mishra ( too old now)

MI:

Dhawal Kulkarni, Piyush Chawla  ( both playing since ages without making any impact)

CSK:

Robin Uthapha, Karn Sharma   ( sell pass date)

PK:
Deepak Hooda, Mandeep Singh   ( playing since decade but with minimal impact, limited players )

KKR:
Karun Nair, Sheldon Jackson, Pawan Negi   ( Their time has come and left long before)

SRH:
Sid Kaul, Khaleel Ahmed, Kedar Jadhav  ( time to invest in potential players and not tried an tested failures, Jadhav has regressed badly)

RR:

Manan Vohra, Jaydev Undakat  ( legend of Unadkat is forever and Vohra is a limited players playing foo too long)

RCB:
None ( surprise! )

Khaleel has been playing for SRH for 4-5 years and hasn't been able to establish himself.

Natrajan has taken over from him in just one season.

Also when under pressure Khaleel crumbles like pack of card ( which was also seen in his brief International career)

I hope he works on his strength and come back strongly.

Khaleel has done well consistently,Natrajan has done well no doubt but we have to wait and see if he's consistent

Khaleel has consistently picked wickets for SRH

Your post was about being deadwood , khaleel hasn't done well for India but he's certainly not a deadwood for SRH

Maxwell- The fraud should have gone unsold. As Gambhir said, Maxwell's statement of him would like to play with Virat worked well for him.

A match winner like Jason Roy was snubbed because he is apparently good in only one discipline but a multi year flop show artist was hired for big bucks because of his "all round" potential!

Teams look for Indian openers and big hitting overseas ARs,as we have so many fairly consistent top order domestic batsmen but lack in MO power packed hitters

With an Indian wife by his side he is our Damaad. What better way to show our country s appreciation towards him..

Most of the Australians. Sorry collection of mediocrity and journeymen.

Epitomised by the signing of the walking dead 38 year old Dan Christian.

Dan Christian to be fair is the Bradman of Big Bash. See few of his innings in youtube. Aus for some reason never picked him as they had mitchell marsh and all

Roy atleast deserved to be picked at base price and Hales, too. Maxwell the fraud will be released by RCB, too after '21 season. As Sehwag had said Maxi cares about free drinks and pay-cheques. It is always visible on his face that he doesnt play with same zeal for franchise.

Glad that another fraud - Aaron Finch has also gone unsold. Good record in intl-t20s but never did well for his franchise' team. Should be end for him in IPL.
