Congratulations Ashwin on 400 wickets!!

Now that he has won twice in Australia, the resume would look incomplete without series wins in england, new zealand and south africa. Home records are home records but away records are great records and speak for ALL-ROUND-GREATNESS. I'm sure he would be more proud of how he did in australia in 2020/21 more than anything else he achieved recently.

Beating SEN in SEN is now the priority. We tour both, england and south africa this year. so there's a golden opportunity waiting in the wings.

Spot on,  He was outbowled by Moen Ali in England. He has to fix that and he was unable to win India the match in SA when they had 448 to chase. So to acheive allround greatness he needs help in winning there too.

Ash can easily play for 4 more years I think.  He will get a shot at Kumble's tally then.

A big home season like 2016-17 plus a SL tour would be ideal.

Ash has promised that if it comes to that he will retire before overtaking Kumble's tally

I guess beating South Africa will be very easy.. I dont see any challenge from their batsman.
