Is it also correct that he seems a bit "lower" this year - maybe pushing it through faster than before?  I enjoy watching this guy bowl - him and Rahul Chahar.  Hope they grow into high-quality India XI spinners.

But now he is collapsing a lot which isn't good in general, his feet position on the crease also doesn't look good.

Lack of a turning leg break will always limit his potential. He is talented, but may not be International material.

Kumble also endured periods when he was dropped from the XI when Harbhajan burst ontot he scene in away tests. However, he was arguably India's biggest match winner at home. 

 

Bishnoi has a lot of contenders (some are downright better options) at home, s won;t have the same benefit. I am not talking of leggies only here, including Akshar and other spinners too.

If he can't turn the leg break more, he will have to come up with other tools in his arsenal - like accuracy and grit.  Maybe his coach will be a good influence.

Bishnoi should be considered as a googly bowler who uses his leg breaks as variations.

 

He turns his googlies and gets a lot of zip off the deck with them too.

 

Leg breaks with small turn are ok as variation deliveries.

 

If he develops his googlies as real lethal ones and uses his flippers well too ... he can be a handful.

Is he 6ft 1 inch tall like Kumble? , because extra bounce was Kumble's main weapon.

Exactly even earlier Rashid Khan used to bowl only googlies...  Almost 90% of the time & even now majority of his balls are googly.  Bishnoi has good control over his wrong un.  He is far from a finished product but the potential is real.  His economy rate is very impressive.

Advantage of having googly as stock ball is batsmen will always be on tenterhooks whether to plonk front foot forward or remain on backfoot.. rashid khans majority of wickets comes from indecision amongst batsmen..

Yes. 15 out of 19 wickets came with a googly.

 

 

Should be in the world t20 squad.

Based on a couple of IPL matches, no player should be rushed into international cricket, especially someone so young with limited FC experience. Needs to go through the grind for a couple of seasons and develop further.

 

Chahar has done everything he's been asked to do across formats.

Cannot say collapsing is totally bad for a leg spinner . Look at Hasaranga . He deliberately bowls with a lower release point . Gets more LBW /Googly chances , many balls do not give height to hit and they slide across with less bounce  esp. googlies.
