Although I do believe ajaz will trouble our batsmen mores than any bowler barring souther trundler.

Unless ECB goes out of its way to make it seamer friendly we should definitely play Ashwin & Jadeja on current form!

I think it will be balanced. The pitch they practiced on was not Rose bowl one I heard the right next to it Practice ground was used. Lone Wolf Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 I remember we played 3 day warm up vs NZ XI before 1st test in NZ but got annihilated in Basin reserve. Our Guys need to turn up 100% to stand a chance. If we score 300 like England did our bowlers will strangle NZ batting no doubt about it.

A few morning showers expected on day 2. Good chances of rain in the post lunch session on day 3. Days 4 , 5 and the reserve day look clear.
Norman Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 I feel losing the toss won't be a big issue in this game. Days 1 and 2 should provide more help to the seamers and spinners would surely come into the game on days 4 and 5. Kinda balances it out..
