Just hope somehow South Africa scrap their way through to the semis and give us the win.

India Pakistan will be a box office bilateral series as well. But we wont play bcoz our soldiers are dying in border. Not sure why we cant keep the same stance in ICC events. BCCIs approach towards Pakistan is very hypocritical.

GOI has participated in the recent ceasefire at LoC with Pak counterparts...  Even they don't care.  Lot of things have happened with US Saudis & India Pak in last few months.  

BCCI is not at fault here.

As per Lolli, a 5 day test is not good enough to decide which team is better.    So, T20 KO match is obviously useless (according to him).   Based on this argument,  he should skip the T20 WC altogether and allow india to win one ICC tournament eventually.   But this is asking for too much.

Kiwis beat us on a Turner at home in 2016 edition

 

Bangladesh ran us ose in 2016 edition and in 2019 WC.

 

Afghanistan ran us close in the 2019 WC

group 2 is basically Asia cup + Nz lmao. we were supposed to play one asia cup this year, icc making sure its not missed. Hopefully bangla and lanka can make into this group

Hope so..  I fail to remember when we last beat them in an ICC event.  Also should be final group game for us...  I'd hate if Sri lanka is our final league opponent &,  then Booooom West Indies se direct semi final.

Think it was during the 2003 WC when Tuffey/Bond wreaked havoc at the Top but Kaif played a sensible innings to chase down a modest total. 

 

Since then India has lost to NZ at 2007 T20 WC, 2016 T20 WC, 2019 WC Semis and the Test Championship Final. 

 

Before that India lost to NZ at 1999 WC and 2000 CT Finals Nairobi.

Enough of bonhomie with these irritating Kiwis. I am only looking forward to Ind-NZ match. Man to man Indian team is no doubt better than their team & this has to now translate on ground.
