Pujara's permanent spot in playing XI is a disgrace to Indian batting culture.

Don't know about SKY. He looks a bit iffy in the 50 over format itself. How will he cooe with 5 day format in swinging conditions? That being said, he will probably score more runs than Pujara.

Kohli was always a limited batsman.  I am still amazed how the hell he had a decent test career. 

Root Williamson & Smith are a level above him in terms of sheer talent.

Awful from Pujara esp. considering that this is his third tour of England. Seems to have learnt nothing and has done absolutely nothing of note in any of the series

The way Rahul has played, he deserves a chance at no 3. Shaw can open with Rohit, with Gill at 5. We do have plenty of options.

Batting stocks are dry no doubt..  But if you ask me anyone will do better than what these guys are doing. 

Mayank & SKY should be tried in middle order for this series.

He is not a long term solution but in last 3 test he can score more than what pujara & Rahane score .so better give some youngsters chances rather than old flopped players. 

Next test i don't see any change but in last three test if pujara & Rahane don't perform in next 3 innings then dropped them play this team in 3rd test .

This bunch player for player does not have the skill level of previous generation. These people may have more modern methods, equipment, facilities and fitness etc but are behind in Batting, Fielding and even bowling. Sachin/Ganguly/Viru all bowled and Dravid could be backup wicket keeper.

Miles & miles of difference in terms of Talent.  You can give them costliest of facilities & top of the shelf analyst...  But one cannot substitute for natural talent.  Those guys had that in abundance.
