Who are the next in line to replace Pujara ?

It seems inevitable that he would at some time get the axe, not cos of any agenda, it seems he has lost his mojo completely & its only fair to the team that somebody else replace him. Question is who can be the next person capable enough to tough it out & play the long innings ? I cant think of one name.

I think Sundar can easily bat at 3. Or Rat can own up and bat at 3 himself

Let Shaw or Gill open and give either Rohit or Rahul the 3rd spot. Think Rohit/Rahul were basically forced to open due to no slots open in the MO but if Pujara is dropped one of them can slide in there.

Rahul deserves a long run for sure. Shaw/Agarwal and Rohit can open, followed by Rahul, Virat, Gill.

When Gill is back, Rahul can be dropped to 3 thus replacing Pujara.

Gill hasn’t shown any determination for a long assures innings, too flashy at the moment, will not be reliable at all IMO.

Both Pujara and Rahane's time in the Indian team is over. IMO once Shaw is available later in the series, Rahul should be sent down to No 5, while Mayank could play at No 3 for this series. Once Gill is fit, he can take over the No 3 slot.

Why not just replace Pujara with Gill, if he can open he can bat at 3 too. 

In the next match, Mayank should play ahead of Pujji.
