Afghanistan Turmoil

Everything is about the ecosystem. A strong ecosystem generates narrative, propaganda and manipulation, which is evidently in last few days

The ecosystem is everything, and social media is just a small part. Taliban today has an ecosystem worldwide this decade.

We may be living in technology advanced times, yet true independent thinking isn't there anymore, with much political thinking today is outsourced.

India needs to drill home the point in the west that Pakistan is the Taliban.

While there is general acceptance in the west of Pakistan's covert role in the matter, the common man on the street needs to make fully aware which should result in sanctions.

Pakistan position is now enhanced. It is very important geostrategic location. All the superpowers want  stable Pakistan and will keep its government in good humor. And Pakistan will also obliged well as it is rental state now.

Liberalism has also led to cowardliness. Given, West purposefully ignore the religious ideology of the Taliban, it will always be rosy image.

And history has shown, their pious group eventually become more powerful, and dangerous.

Noone cares if Pak is the Taliban. This method India has followed hasn't worked till now - won't work until there is another 9/11 like event again - esp in the US or China. Noone cares about the plight of the rest of the world.

Beware of propaganda videos on both sides, some old ISIS videos being shared as current ones. Also, there are mainstream media outlets reporting videos about how safe the transition of power is , just because Taliban addressed some PCs.

@Jimmy Cliff nailed it.

In fact I think all other parties have got it worked out with these monsters, India will be 10 steps behind as usual. This govt has mastered the art of empty rhetoric and overall cluelessness, no expectation from Modiji and his coterie of bozos.

India apologetic when nytimes claimed that India concerned more about Hindus and Sikhs than Muslims stuck in Afghans. India be concerned of their interests just like any other country does. Plus India opened E-visa to Afghans of all religions that no other country has done. Meek

These western countries have to walk the talk. And they are masters of deception, so they don't their words so seriously.

India is reactive, like every other parties. It's a fluid situation, and there is nothing right or wrong to judge upon as of today. India's immediate priority was rescue of its own people, which it did successfully unlike other countries.
