There are plenty. Just don't get chances. Just cause one struggles in India doesn't mean he will be bad in sena. You need to analyse their technique and look at A stats.

I think once his average drops below 50, he'll start feeling some heat, atleast from pr perspective. Even the most indifferent normies have the instinct that 50 is the cutoff for world class.

 

With his current form, unless he skips some matches, he will be below 50 by the end of the year and hard to get back there without going back to domestic

I still have hope that he'll be demoted before 2023. Modi govt would want indian team to lift the wc before the election year. After his inevitable choke jobs in next two wt20s, they might change the leadership

If his avg drops below 50, his own safe space /r/cricket will drop him as their saviour/star player in a moment calling him "filthy casual and a tailender". That place has a boner for 50+ more than anywhere else.

Gill is pretty flaky as of now. has a lot to fix before his game can be deemed solid.

Yeah except sachin, dravid, etc never had such a deep dip, even in sachins elbow injury phase

You used that etc very easily, will you shut your mouth if I list down 5 atg batsman who had a similar bad patch over a 20 innings or more sample. 

 

 

Why don't you just wait and watch, if Kohli performs on the same level that he has been doing in the last 10 matches he will definitely be out of the ATG list. He's too good a batsman to not come out of this slump.

people hate Kohli as a captain more than as a batsman.. but this guy wont give up captaincy until he retires which is a good 4-5 years away so other than T20 format he will keep playing and continue to torment us with his captaincy

It will not end with Kohli exiting,it has become part of our culture now , wielding so much power,it all started with Dhoni,Kohli was groomed as such

Next incoming captain could be much worse,the ball is in administator's court

Can you define back to his best? Is it a random 100 here or there or is it an extended 12/18/24 month period where he will average more than his career average?
