Going with the fighting spirit of this team, bold prediction of 350. Do or die time. Rohit, Kohli, Pant. Pitch is good to bat on, make it one for the ages.

250-300 is what the optimist in me predicts.
I will be mighty surprised if they cross 300 or cannot even score 200.

India scoring 200 means giving a very achievable target of 100 to Eng. Our middle order will do well enough to save their places and giving a slight target to England won't really win anything for us but will secure their places that they have contributed something.

If the openers weather the storm early tomorrow, I can expect them to contribute and push India's score above that 250 mark.  A target of 175-200 can be challenging for Eng to achieve in their 4th innings chase.

220 A.O. The opening batsmen will put up 60.

Rohit & Rahul - around 30 each

Pujara 18

Kohli - 30.

Rahane 32. Moeen will get him.

Pant - 35

Jadeja - 25

Rest will score around 20-25 runs.

England to win by 7 wickets.

I doubt if Pant will score 35. he has forgotten how to bat at the moment. the rest seems reasonable, although about 20 runs too high for Rahane

LMAO.    Some posters here thought rain robbed us of an important win in the 1st test, while we were chasing 210. They were unaware of our non-existent MO with Hot & Cold openers as well.
