Whatever excuses we want to believe, but captain and coach set wonderful example, leading from the front

We may not know what happened but if the game gets called off or whatever we know how it will be spinned as ie all blame on us.

Maybe I'm selfish here but I don't think a huge historic series win abroad is something the squad will pass up for the moment coz of this. A lot can happen in a year and it won't feel the same.

If a terror attack happened on Indian team, do you think anybody will be in a state of mind to play ?

This is similar to that. Just because the reports came out negative, doesnt mean they dont have Covid. RT-PCR returns quite a few false negatives. Obviously, the priority for anyone would be their own well being and their families.

Why would anyone risk their lives over a game ? This is not war.

Problem for IPL now.

IPL starts on 19th. First match is CSK vs MI. Players in England right now

CSK: Jadeja, Shardul, Pujara, Moeen, Curran

MI: Rohit, SKY, Bumrah

IPL schedule is in huge trouble.

I was looking at the covid protocols for the IPL, they have assumed the India-Eng series being played under a bio-secure bubble and hence a bubble to bubble transfer in UAE with no quarantine. This clearly is not the case. That means these players having to serve 6 days of quarantine after arrival in UAE. If this happens, IPL cannot be played.

Ok fine.. don’t take actions without the care for consequences. Let BCCI pay ecb the lost revenue with the cancelled match finish the series with india as winners. I mean there is a price for negligence and the coach/captain antics need to have a price. Postponing a single test to next year is a joke and pointless.

Negligence is from ECB, not BCCI. ECB is the home board. Players have no obligations without bio bubble. Safety is up to home board to assure like BCCI did earlier this year.
