One match in and this WC is already a yawn fest. And this is with crappy teams like Scotland, Namibia etc all to play with all due respect

 

with IPL you’d have the odd crap game like SRH vs RR or something but most games are entertaining

 

Guys who struggle in IPL like Zampa, Cummins etc are suddenly world beaters

 

Guys like Bavuma will never get an IPL contract just not good enough

That is bcoz only 4 foreign players are allowed each team. If you look into it other way, guys like Unadkat, Tewatia, Utthappa etc. who are IPL stars will never feature in T20 world cup.

every ipl team has players like this. if Bavuma was indian domestic player, he will easily play for RR/SRH/CSK for 2-3 seasons

When did this happen?
 

Unadkat has been horrendous in the past 4 seasons and got replaced by young Kartik Tyagi. 
 

Tewatia was just a one-innings wonder on a highway Sharjah pitch where everything was bowled in the slot for him. Did nothing after that. 
 

Uthappa has played just 2-3 good knocks in the past few seasons. He is still a much much better cricketer than Temba Bavuma though

No it's nowhere close to international cricket. 

Looks like you didn't watch India's tour of SriLanka. 

Where Deepak Chahar had to rescueour superstars from getting beaten by SRL B.

IPl is great but Int'l cricket has that kick which it can't replace.  There will always be some mediocre games in World cups. 

IPl>> then some random bilateral but World Cups are different beasts. 

At least no overrated Christian Morris Garton are playing here..

Even in IPL, only a few teams are in form every year. Mumbai last year, CSK this year, had no competition. Them, along with RR and Punjab, are entertaining teams. SRH and KKR are dreadful. Even MI batting is nit as explosive as Windies.

Nope quality of international player as a team is not up to the mark of ipl. Other than Eng and to an extent NZ rest all team would loose against old man xi csk. Less said about dynamic xi like MI and DC.
