speedheat
This midget always looks to be under pressure in a big match. Now, watch him score some meaningless runs against Namibia, Scotland, and Afghanistan, and his fans will go crazy. Kothili, LordPrabhzy, zen and 1 other 1 2 1 Link to comment
sensible-indian
Just now, Adamant said: He is Rahul not Aakash Chopra, he is not there to defend and lunge just so that Sehwag (read Rohit) can play his natural game. He was a pale shadow of himself back then. Used to be fearful of getting out and losing his spot. The knock was decent considering the situation. Link to comment
Frustrated
1 minute ago, Adamant said: In tests, I think you should check out his performance vs AUS in home conditions , probably the toughest series we have played at home. That may be true. But I don't think any Indian test opener would ever hv a worse batting average than KL. (batsmen having played more than 30 tests) Link to comment

TRENT BOULT vs Rohit and Rahul can yet again be devastating Link to comment
Lone Wolf
I think he is dreadful against left armers.. Starc had him in the warm up as well if he had that slip. Needs to play in middle order vs NZ & let Kishan open. Edited October 24, 2021 by Lone Wolf Link to comment
vvvslaxman
People with starting problems succumb to pressure. Remember how Tendulkar edged one in the 2011 final. It was Gambhir that played a great percentage cricket. Link to comment
Austin 3:!6
That was a brute of a delivery and could have got anyone out. Actually we have posted decent total considering our appalling start. Question should be asked of Shami, Bumrah and Bhuvi. Looked like a baby bowler infront of Shaheen Afridi. Lord 1 Link to comment
sensible-indian
There is a slight fear about KL being a choker. But he has also shown he can radically transform as a bat in his career. I am banking on that. Link to comment

Kohli would have defended it. He dropped his head way too low. It was a combination of great bowling + poor technique. You are always going to face some great deliveries in big events. Majestic
Till now, he hasn't. Shreyas Iyer is a better pressure player and he has a positive attitude in his game too. In situations such as 23/3 or 31/3, he and Pant always performs and save their team. So, I would like to see Pant and Iyer batting together at 4 & 5 for Indian team. They compliment each other well too. Link to comment

Bowlers were ineffective for sure and should be questioned but according to me 30-3 was the bigger concern, we lost 70% of the battle right there Link to comment

R!TTER
Nice deflection, this is his second ICC tournament - given the circumstances he opened in the 2019 WC his performances weren't that bad. If you're nitpicking we have 2 certified duds from a combined of 25-30 ICC KO's who've shat the bat in at least 20 of them! ShoonyaSifar and Kothili 1 1 Link to comment

Vancouver
He is a timing player and does not belong to T20s. His innings for KXIP were pleasing on the eye but he single handily lost most matches for them with slow start. You cannot afford a Rohit Sharma ODI start in a T20. He is a gun test player and should be kept away from LOIs and T20s for team India at least. Kothili and speedheat 1 1 Link to comment

ShoonyaSifar
Kohli PR missed all those ODIs Rahul won batting at 4/5 in the last 24 months?? Maybe they were not very important as Kohli failed in so many of them Link to comment
Adamant
Here comes the mental patient, he is talking about regular bilateral performances when the thread is on a totally different topic And that too mocking Kohli for not performing in bilaterals .Abhi record dikhaun kya ?
