Insane valuations. Nearly 13000 crs for the two teams. Well done Ganguly-Jay Shah team. More money for Indian cricket -> better grassroots infra -> better pay for players -> a wider talent pool. Hopefully the IPL brand keeps growing bigger and bigger. 

 

CVC Partners outbidding Adani is very interesting. A Global PE firm with deep investments in multiple sports.

About time, UP and Gujrat got a team. Two of the most deserving venues in India. So now it seems most regions of the country have been covered. What is left for the future ? Maybe a team in Orissa and a NE team based in Guwahati.

Oh yes, he finally has a chance to lead an IPL side provided he stays motivated and remains in shape.

 

For some reason, decided to sacrifice his own captaincy ambitions when he could very well have been an IPL captain back in 2011-12 itself
