Pak should bat first. They will be through to semi finals anyway...so its time for them to test their bowling under Dubai Dew.

I know we all want Pakistanis to do something dumb and lose :giggle: but wouldn’t it make sense to do such experiments after you officially qualified and playing the associate teams :)

India might be out of WC after playing one match.. Thanks ICC   yeh break khatam kyon nahi ho rahi hai..

This one week long break has backfired Indian team big time. Had we played couple of more games this week, everyone would have forgotten that Pak game by now and moved on. But bcoz we have not played anything since Sunday, everyone is going after our players and giving expert opinion. Its like you murder someone and hang the deadbody for a week for people to rejoice. Just fire the guy who prepared this scheduling.

But even if they lose today, they will surely beat Scotland and Namibia irrespective of batting 1st or 2nd. So their semi spot is guranteed.

Today's game is the last tough game they will get before semis...so its better to practice bowling 2nd even if they lose here.

It is not guaranteed.

If Afg win and then they beat  NZ,there will be three way tie between Afg,Pak and winner of India-NZ.

And Afg have massive NRR boost of 6+

Wtf Afghanistan are currently on a 16 match win streak in the UAE lol

I believe Pak are on also on a streak, so one of theirs will end today.

AFG won the toss and will bat first. So AFG sticking with its strategy to bat first.

Dumb decision. Pakistan is not Scotland, they are not going to score 190 against Pak's bowling attack. And Afg batting is not that good anyway. They are full of FTBs, small ground bullies, and leg side hacks. They should've bowled first.

It appears as if AFG likes to bat first no matter what :dontknow:

Let’s see how they go. Maybe a change in pattern is on the cards.

Afgans know their strength. If they score 150, they have way to make it very difficult for Pakistan

5.33 pm Toss time. Afghanistan have won the coin flip and chosen to bat first. Captain Mohammad Nabi says it is a dry pitch and looks good for batting first. Afghanistan is playing an unchanged XI.

looks like somebody has taken a lot of money...
