Agreed with all the points. It is still possible Afg can win, but conventional wisdom favors NZ big time.

Our hopes are being played with after defeating Afg and Scotland, too little too late.

Wish they had played like this against NZ & Pak where it mattered most.

Yeah, there is always a chance in a pressure game. Kiwis tend to become too dangerous at this stage (as Eng and Ind discovered recently). They can scratch around in group games to lift their games in knockout (unless facing Aus). 

 

If Aus is destined to win the cup, it is likely to face Pak and NZ, its favorite teams. Beat Pak in SF and NZ in F

I always felt that 2021 was going to a Kiwi year -

Even if we go through, I am far from happy. After that spineless performance vs Kiwis and pakistan, I can't help but loathe the team selection and captain. Still bitter about it. Only thing that will please me is if we qualify and then beat the crap out of Kiwis or Pakistanis in the Ko stages.

I mentioned about the betting odds earlier when some posters were saying that an Afghanistan win is impossible. The odds on a NZ victory right now are  1.48 , if you put 100 USD on a NZ victory you will win 48 USD with your stake returned.

 

That's good money to be made on what many are dismissing as a No Contest.

 

Also check the odds on Tournament Winner,  both India and NZ have almost the same odds of winning the tournament from here.
