Pakistan to host 2025 Champions Trophy

Will India participate in a tournament held in Pakistan ? If yes, then that will be full resumption of International Cricket in Pakistan.

 

Think some deals have been finalized between the boards and ICC has been the mediator.

CT 2025: Pakistan

 

T20 WC 2026 :  India , SL

 

CWC 2027 : SA, Zimbabwe, Namibia

 

T20 WC 2028 : Aus, NZ

 

CT 2029 : India

 

T20 WC 2030 : England, Scotland, Ire

 

CWC 2031 : India, Bangladesh.

 

Reckon the Test Championship finals will be allotted to England in the Cycle.

India imho should not be taking part in the Champions Trophy held in terror haven of Pakistan. It is a security issue for the team apart from the nuisance they may undergo from the rogue nation.

This will be real test for the Indian government if they will send a team to Pakistan and resume the Sporting/Cultural relations. BCCI must have given the assurance that they will send the  team to Pakistan.

The host nation announcements don't suggest BCCI's nod to sending a team. Can we confirm that?

 

If BCCI did agree, then this is very disappointing. Might as well travel to Pakistan for a bilateral series then.

So Aus nz and Eng get only 2 icc tournament in next 10 yrs. wow. Reigning odi n t20 n wtc champions.

They have given hosting right it doesn't mean it will be hosted in pakistan. It might happen in UAE hosted by pakistan.

Another tourney in UAE then most likely.  If Pakistan doesn't hosts Asia Cup then forget about this. 

South Africa is only hosting one event...  Should have got the one in West Indies & USA.  Nobody gives a damn about cricket there.  Timings would be sh*** all day games.  Clueless ICC ICC
