Rohit Sharma has pulled off this unique feat

Wasn't injured in 2014. He was dropped and got injured in odis i guess. 2018 he wasn't injured but dropped (for one test?) and then he returned back to see birth of his child. He was injured before 2020/21 aus tour and played last 2 tests.

Except for the NZ tour in 2020, he's played at least one test of every SENA tour since making his debut. Wasn't picked for England in 2018.

But then Kohli PR (see the id of the person who put the tweet) and facts do not go hand in hand.

Like injuries are in hand of players.

Haha this was expected.

With Kohli being captain in tests, this fool Rohit was never going to play anyways as if he fails for two tests which is very possible in SA opening in tests, Kohli might drop him or make media go nuts on Rohit too.

India team politics is becoming like Pakistan. There's a good chance Kohli will skip ODI's too as he might no want to play under Rohit captaincy.

Pathetic on the part of Rohit. It is clear he did this intentionally to spite Kohli.

And yet hit a 100 in the last test in England to help us take a lead in the test.

Easier thing would have been to underperform there. series loss in England after WTC  would have accelerated Kohli's sacking, no? But logic perhaps doesn't fit well with the story ..

Kohli carefully ensured he is surrounded by mediocre batsman. He never allowed his threats to feel secure lol Now ball is in Rohit's court. He can just sit out and come back anytime he wants unless Agarwal suddenly becomes a technical wizard and makes a couple of 100s in SA.

Sitting here in Australia, there is some amazing 3D chess being played in Indian cricket. I was blown away by this news this morning.

If the rumours are true of Hitman deliberately sitting out the Test series, then the BCCI are responsible for the state of Indian cricket at the moment.

They caused this by giving too much power to one person ie Kohli and this is the fallback happening now.

Everyone makes mistakes and the BCCI needs to learn from this. I think appointing 3 captains in Test, ODI and T20 needs to be explored. I also think that NO captain should have any say of the squads being picked. This should be a BCCI decision and from each squad the captain and TM can pick the team.

This is how Indian Cricket recovers and moves forward.
