I've said it before he is Pakistan's best batsman across formats..  He surpasses Babar in every possible way. 

Btw Pakistan plays most T20Is in comparison to every team which is a bit too much I think.

Peak Kohli was something else man..  2016 was he was in just beast run across formats.  No modern batsman will come close to that peak.  He is not even 10% of what he was in 2016 now.

That's amazing consistency at scale from Rizwan. Hats off.

He rarely gets out first over, 2nd over. He is able to see off initial overs fairly reasonably well.

He is a supreme athlete. One of the toughest people i have seen. He smashed the south africans in South Africa's highveld which has thin air making breathing relatively difficult while being fasted in all the games; taking no water, let alone food.

I am a fit guy but if i fast i just cant do my workouts before iftar, because i need to sip on some water atleast between sets. But this guy doesn't care, and it is also not like his batting style is like Gayle's who just stands there n delivers. Riz's game is based on quick two's, field manipulation; that requires a lot of intensity, and then he has to keep wickets, which is why it is just mind boggling. This is why we call him RizMan. An extremely inspirational character but a thorough humble human being with zero ego. He is pretty much the soul of the team.

Phenomenal numbers but he too has the same issue as Babar. As good as they both are, they are incapable of taking the game away from the opponents (decent ones) as seen in the England series and in the semifinal against Australia. Early 130s is not the strike rate that will bother good bowling sides..

Having a great run but do look at the opposition, T20I SR of 134 isn't any great either.

That will change, now that the middle n lower order are also coming together. 

They will have more freedom, with Haider improving, Asif n ifti understanding their roles n Shadab, Nawaz at 7 n 8 who r basically full time batsmen.

 

As i said, the team is evolving. This is a great generation of cricketers for Pakistan and they will become a force to be reckoned with, in a couple of years; God willing.

That's a pretty big if. As long as Babar/Rizwan continue to hog up 75% of the overs, the middle order will remain undercooked. All of those you've mentioned have done nothing against good sides. Shadab looks like a tailender whenever he bats against good pace bowling and Haider Ali has failed 99% of the times I've watched him play against good sides.

Pakistan were always decent in T20is. You guys need to focus on Tests and Odis if you want to become a "force to be reckoned with". Drawing a test series to West Indies in 2021 and losing 3-0 to an England county XI are not promising signs.
