rahane has batted quite well: control percent of 95% also attests to it. However, he shouldn't have been playing in this test on recent form, but we will see what happens next... another false dawn? or a second coming?

hold your horses lol. he has scored only 40 after a long time. getting out early tommorrow is still possible. still can't get over he was preferred over iyer. sure iyer may turn out to be a hack but he needs to be given a chance after his preformance at home.

how long are we going to persist with a has been cricketer who didn't live up to the past legends and is only in the team. I supported his inclusion in the past where his inclusion merited over someone like Rohit when Rahane's performance was worthy of inclusion. I don't know about right now. Even if he performs, Dravid must look for replacements. That is if Dravid has some control over things. I still don't think Kohli will allow Dravid to flourish even though he is under fire with his removal of captaincy from LOIs.

Dravid is pretty conservative these days as coach. I doubt if he will shake up the status quo, with or without Kohli being around

yeah he knows what happened to kumble very well and kumble is one of his best friends. as long as he doesn't poke the bear with the inferiority complex, he should be fine.
