Mohammad Hasnain reported at BBL, set to undergo test on his action

https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/pakistan-fast-bowler-mohammad-hasnain-reported-at-bbl-and-set-to-undergo-test-on-his-action-1297413

In his last game against Sydney Sixers, Moises Henriques was heard on the stump mic saying "nice throw mate" to Hasnain, after he bowled him a bouncer. Hasnain didn't pick up a wicket in that game though he was economical (4-0-22-0), as the Sixers won the match by 60 runs. In the five games he played, Hasnain conceded runs at just 6.00 per over while taking seven wickets at average of 15.71.

Hasnain was due to undergo a test on his action on January 19 in Australia, but because he was due to return to Pakistan at the end of his stint and because there is an ICC-accredited testing facility in Lahore, it was decided he would get tested there.

TBH its not Henriques job to say if the bowler is throwing or not. Leave it to the umpires

Doesn’t the batsman have the right to report checkers?

usually the umpires do it; I don't recall batters doing it off the top of my head, although they can (and do) have a word with umpires.

He had a great BBL stint . If cleared, he , along with Haris Rauf and Afridi will make a very good pace trio for next T20 WC, all three can bowl 150 kmh plus deliveries.

The very thing i like about pakistan though,i must admit, there have realised it

And Rauf can mix deliveries not just plain throwing(dont read chucking here),t20s are moving away from knuckle ball trundlers, every side should realise it

India on the other hand has huge fantasy of knuckle bowlers and trundlers(much to do with lesser skills in high pace bowlers in t20s here as they play lesser to their pakistani counterparts)

knuckle bowl and slower one suits to fast bowler not our trundlers who are slow to begin with. This bhuvi guy has been made as legend by SRH and Laxman as some sort of paradigm for loi bowling. Bhuvi need to be kicked out so that new comer don't follow him.

We have franchises grabbing truckloads of trundlers for huge price money, this is very discouraging, hope IPL hits these trundlers with  reality checks and India too does away with fantasizing over knuckle ball bowlers

PSL bowling standards were nothing to be excited about until 2018, but since then it is slowly starting to represent the country's obsession with pace bowling.

Right now, there are atleast 2 or 3 140+ pacers in atleast 5 teams and each year 2 guys get added to the list. For example;

2018: Shaheen

2019: Rauf n Hasnain

2020: Dilbar, Akif, Naseem shah, Musa

2021: Shahnawaz Dahani, Mohammad Waseem jr, Mohammad Imran, Ahmed Danyal

This year it is going to be; Sirajuddin, Ehsanullah and Zeeshan Zameer

In all honesty, a guy like bhuvi or some other 130 kph guy would hardly get a look in the PSL. You have to be quick or need to posess great skill, for example Amir.

Karachi kings for example is loathed because it is the only side that doesn't boast of a 145 kph quick.

Bhuvneshwar wasn't bad before 2019 ,he wasn't trundler either in his peak, infact he was one of the rare bowlers who from being 125-130ish started to pick pace bowl around 140+ at his peak

He was in red hot form in 2016,even quite good in 2017,2018

SRH was well served by him, bowling was their strength thanks to a non trundler Bhuvi

He has now become a burden with his zero fitness and blunt bowling and low pace(much to do with his age)

IPL franchise scouts have a false perception about variations provided by pcers in t20s,it will fade away in coming seasons as they will realise it very soon, which will reflect in  our national setup

We are just in midst of  slight transition at the moment

Bhuvi gets games for India because of miss management and a fake perception created around his experience, there are five pacers from his state team uttar Pradesh itself thst are atleast 8kph quicker than him, tyagi, mavi, dayal, Ankit rajput, Mohsin khan all play for the same team and bowl 140kph, hangarekar is faster than every u19 Pak pacer, no fake myths created and he has been televised in the 2020 edition tyagi and Sushant Mishra outpaced the Pak pacers by atleast 7kph on average, guys like rauf, Hassan, rauf, Musa would get thrashed around in the ipl and probably would not even get game time after a few failures, bar Shaheen Pakistan has nothing to speak of and yhh there are more 140kph bowlers in India than Pak. Bangladesh b team nearly beat Pak full strength team recently.

The sorry thing is i was actually reading your post in good faith for the first half. But the latter half just sums up the credibility or the lack of it, about your views.

One less guy to worry about over here.
