He has lost his effectiveness compared to pre 2020.

maniac Posted February 24, 2022 Author Posted February 24, 2022 Bumrah will be the answer to our middle overs problem. Even a Bumrah having an off day is not easy to hit. Perfect bowler for that phase. look at Prasidh, he has done very well in ODIs in the middle overs. With the red ball sure but with white ball Bumrah should only bowl between 15-50.

Even England use Wokes, Willey etc upfront or Aus with Hazelwood or Nzl with Southee-Boult. we need a good swing bowler. Obviously Pace + swing is a perfect combo like beauty with brains but only in theory but practically what do you think is the solution for our team ? I listed a few I think will be perfect in the power play. I feel Siraj will be a great new ball bowler even though unsure about his death bowling in LOIs. Deepak that’s pretty much his only skill.

In white ball cricket .... Siraj and Chahar can be our new ball bowlers. Siraj good at the death too. Bumrah ideal for overs 7 to 50 in ODIs and overs 5 to 20 in T20s. Prasidh is ideal for overs 6 to 45 in ODIs and decent at the death Rotate these bowlers based on playing conditions and resting schedule. AKane, SRT100, maniac and 1 other 2 2

Can bowl another one in the PP if required or in the MO, followed by 2 at the death. I don’t expect any changes to this pattern in the near term. express bowling 1

Excellent deduction from a terrific individual. I have been saying this for almost a year now. He is a perfect MO bowler in tests and even LOI. Tbh he shouldn't shouldn't bother with these t20 games. If anything we have never used data properly which has been very obvious in recent years . Our ODI bowling is another classic both bumrah-bhuvi are struggling to get wkts in opening overs as compare to early coz they have pulled their lengths backs. IPL teams have far better analyst then Indian side
