putrevus Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Not easy to survive 170 overs. This result will have its effect on third test.
Norman Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Chalo ideal result for us. Hope the last game ends in a draw too.
LordPrabhzy Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Credit where credit is due- batting two full days to save the match ( even on a flat pitch) is something Indian batsmen need to do more often
vvvslaxman Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Pakistan got away with a draw here on their home turf.
rageaddict Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Batting for more than 5.5 sessions is no joke, I don't remember last time any team batter so long to save a test .
rollingstoned Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Yea good performance by the poyz to save this one. Batting time is a lost art these days. Aussies have failed to close out a few games recently.
Lone Wolf Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Dabur nearly bottled it... Credit to Rizwan here. Some amazing strokes during the inns. Australia bottled it & perhaps a golden opportunity to win a series in SC.

I'm actually quite happy. But feel a bit sad for you guys who're reduced to celebrating draws on home soil like minnows. Sgattick10, Suhaan, Laaloo and 2 others 5

This pitch never deteriorated. Australia's only hope was reverse on this flat deck. It is still a benign surface. No wear and tear. Very bad advt for Test cricket.
HamHindustani Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 why nobody bend today? have they given up on bending? Iconoclast 1
HamHindustani Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Aus tried to force a result otherwise Aus could have kept on batting in the second innings
Iconoclast Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Laanat ho to whoever made these pitches but hats off to the cricketers who made this such an enthralling match Axl100mph 1

Yes we should hope for South Africa to drop a few points too just to be on the safer side. But they are set to play 6 Tests (72 points) in England and Australia out of which they'll likely take 16-20 points. Pretty big dropoff so we should be okay unless they perform out of the ordinary. O mere bhai Appreciate good stuff sometime It was an epic draw and probably better advert for test cricket than the Ind v Srl series
Nikola Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Ramiz raja has said pitches will remain same till end of season so most likely another draw in next test.

Saala BKL, and then he says India should play Pak. Even if they gifted PoK, I wouldn't want our players to play on these tracks. Suhaan 1
