Probably Brahmos wanted to do a live test of what it can do deep into Pak territory from well inside Indian territory. As usual ISPR liars will never allow the truth to come out. Paid to lie. I read someone claimed attack happened where Hafiz Saeed owned a lot of property... Can't rule out anything literally. raki05 1

This was clearly an attempt to test ChiPak air defence/ strike an HVT. It isn't a big deal to track missile launches, but Pakistan has no way of intercepting Brahmos, which is why their strategy involves second strike capability. Not to mention, Pakistan itself took over a day to announce this, suggesting they had no idea what hit them initially. raki05 1
