Hooda should be given a long run in LOIs

A full strength Ind team on paper can actually be a weak team on the field. Developing and improving cricketers like Hooda should be given a long run esp. in the top 4. 

 

At the moment, he appears to be better than a Kishan and a S Iyer esp. with his ability to play both spin and bounce relatively better. He has the ability to slip in an over or two too, therefore, can share the 5th bowler’s over with another batting AR. 
 

If he continues to develop, I won’t be surprised if he even makes it to the test team.

Hooda has been very impressive in the opportunities he has got.He can play in all the formats.He is experienced players as he has played for Boroda for many years.

He has leap frogged in front of the many young players.He and Surya Yadav should be the middle order followed by Pandya and pant

He is still 27-28 I guess..   So not old either.  Younger than SKY Rahul types.

yes, Hoodie has done well in the limited chances he got. and if he improves his bowling further, he can be a genuine 6th bowler in LOIs. as it stands, he is more of a 7th bowler right now

Hooda is a must. Very confident player, has improved tons against pace and looks to be ready to take on bowlers. He is an ideal #3, SKY being terrific against spin should play at #4.

Such an insane talent sundar is. Does he even realize how good he is. I am a fast bowling fan but I enjoy watching technical stroke playing batsmen too. Sundar was absolutely special. The way he handled peak Aussie attack in Australia and then England at home in important games was exceptional

 I hope he fixes his body asap too. He can be a special player.

he already played special knocks. as people here know, I am not a fan of Shastri in general, but I concur with an interview he gave (available on Cricinfo) where he said that Sundar could be India's premier AR in all three formats if he fixes his porcelain body. Dude is more fragile than Disney princess

yes, but he was a hulking fast bowler (I recall he hit nearly 150 even as teenager, i.e., below 20). Sundar on the other hand bowls offspin and bats - neither are strenuous activities. hence, his body being made of porcelain is a bad sign. we will probably not get to see much of porcelain princess (sundar) in the future too

He is built like a twig. Hulking lol. Cmon. He is such a docile guy outside the pitch. He is soft as hell. He honestly isn't well built. Johnson was well built

 Not Cummins.

Cummins though does have some wiry strength. Not much.
