Ross Taylor - RR owner slapped me 3-4 times when I got out for a duck in 2011 IPL

I had read about Kerry Packer storming into the dressing room and telling Kepler Wessels "I didnt hire you to score just a 40". Maybe the RR owner took inspiration from that! But why is Taylor making all these revelations now? Did he write a book or something?

Yup, his autobiography.

One needs to take names or not talk about it.

It's not so simple. There could be defamation lawsuits and what not. The pertinent point is that such behaviour occurred and is likely happening even now.

There are 1000s of people who speak up when faced with any kind of unprofessional behavior in offices how is it any different for Ross taylor. Its not as if those working dont fear losing lively hood yet they speak up.

Cont’d

”I forgot to mention that on our way to the tyre shop we were accosted by this weird moustachioed bloke who offered to push the car all the way back, saying in a piquant accent “Boost is the secret of my energy”.  We needed a boost indeed, but clearly this fella was off his rocker.

Luckily he was chased off by another lunatic who ran at him waving a cricket bat yelling “Indranagar ka goooooooonda hoon”. Inexplicably Rahul who had vanished at the start of this second incident soon reappeared smiling sheepishly.

India is full of these madmen and half of them were in dressing room.  You couldn’t have a normal conversation with teammates shouting random lines at each other.  As someone how they were and/ or what they had for lunch and you’d get the reply “Yeh hai youngistan meri jaan”.  Never understood it.
