Arshdeep ,not saying he's a choker or shouldn't play again, he can be useful in certain conditions and death but today he lost it alone.

Poor batting in middle overs against spin. Should have reached 200+ with the start and with wickets in hand. Blame goes to Suryakumar, Pant, Hardik and Deepak Hooda.

 

Also, experienced bowlers not delivering. Bhuvi failed to bowl the yorkers and was too predictable with his wide length. Chahal couldnt bowl as well as other 3 spinners from both teams. 

 

I wouldnt blame Arshdeep at all. Yes, catch should have been taken and perhaps iIndia could have won but these things happen in India vs Pak game, especially to newcomers. He was among the pick of the bowlers in today's game and bowled much better than expected in last over when there were only 7 runs needed.

Of course Chahal + Bhuvi + Pandya.    Also, our middle order is non existent.  SKY is a proven minnow basher.  A fraud ranked 2 batsman.   Will get more and more exposed with every game.

Rohit for not being defensive enough. You cannot bowl out opposition in the 2nd innings in Dubai. You need to bowl defensive lines and set fields accordingly. 

 

Rohit was setting very attacking fields and the ball kept going through 3rd man . He should rely less on his own instinct and try to nail what works  

 

Bowlers were pretty dumb as well. Once again, too aggressive trying to bowl bouncers and Yorkers  instead of going hardlength and trying to take the ball away from hitting arc.

 

Worst offender was Chahal. Bowling slow leg break on leg stump to a left hand batsman who was looking to target that shorter boundary  . You don't need back end analysis for that- you just need a bowling brain.

Pant vs Nawaz was the difference. Hate to say it but Pant is not delivering in T20s to justify picking him there.

He didnt loose it alone 

Pandya- chahal middle overs lost the game 

Pant batting vs nawaz batting one of the major difference 

Bhuvi in crunch situation as an experienced bowler bowled badly. 

 

 

We just got back but then he dropped catch but he was the only pace who went below 9.5  so he did his job as bowler 

 

 

Cant blame a youngster for one catch when ur 3 senior bowlers bowl badly for 12 overs , we lost the game in that not becoz of alone one catch .
