This is is what I used to think too. But this time, the competition was intense between  atleast 4 teams. 

 

It has given us a stark reality check. I hope Rohit has realised the need to ruthlessly execute bowling plans based on match ups and not just go by gut feel. 

 

Last time, it was just Pakistan at the World T20 who showed what change such an approach could produce . This time, even SL with meagre resources has adopted a meticulous approach and its showing .

Update and Smriti 

In a close fought game  England 2nd xi v India 

India 132 for 7 from 20 overs 

England 134 for 1 off 13 overs 

Apart from batting, bowling. Fielding, captaincy and coaching I thought India did well .

 

Off to Derby on Tuesday to watch Smritis bbbbbbbbbbbbuuuuuuuu ...batting
